About
I'm Sahil - a computer science student who's in it for the backend. The API that stays fast when traffic spikes, the job that runs at 3am without drama, the database that doesn't become a bottleneck, the script that finally gets rid of some tedious manual work.
Most days that means Go, Node.js, or Java with TypeScript and React when the work needs an interface. I'm comfortable owning a feature from schema to deployed service, and I run Linux - Arch, in case you were wondering.
Right now I'm reading up on distributed systems and pushing myself toward projects that involve real traffic, real failure, and real scale.
